Google Penalize Rap Genius For Spam Link Scheme

Rap Genius faces the wrath of Google for using manipulated link schemes in order to make his website enjoy a better rank in the search engine. It is reported that he has been penalized by Google on the 25^th December morning and the page rapgenius.com is not been shown in the search result since then. However when searched for Rap Genius in Goggle, visitors will get link to accounts of Twitter, Facebook, Wikipedia and more except the main website which used to get visibility in the first page ranks.

Talking about this penalization, Matt Cutts who is the chief in charge of search spam stated that Rap Genius's website has been officially removed from Google's result as he had been using manipulative processes to avail search engine ranking. Lately, an apology was stated from the founders of Rap Genius saying that they effed up and will stop using these spam stuffs. At the same time, they also asked Google to come up with some definite changes that will help improve search ranking for lyrics. They also blamed some other rival sites for indulging in similar manipulative spam actions.
