Tips to Run a PPC campaign with Low Budget

There is a misconception going around in the online circles that PPC campaign is only for the well off businesses. Most business owners feel that success of a PPC campaign depends largely on the funds you are ready to mete out. When you are competing with the leading names in your business sector through search ads it is your planning that can give you an edge. Do not fall in the group of business owners who give up PPC because they do not have large budgets for PPC campaign. Though budget is a significant part of PPC but it is not the whole. You can run a PPC campaign even when you are running short on budget with the help of the following tips:

·         Higher Ad Positions: There is a conception among all the business owners that visitors do not go beyond first two Google result pages. But there are many instances when they do. Some visitors may even visit page 5 or 6 to get relevant information. If you put ads on lower ranking pages then the cost per click rates can be low. The rates shoot up abnormally when it comes to the first two pages, so try to avoid these.
·         Long Tail Keywords: when you use specific set of long tail keywords the advertising costs may be brought down. A keyword having more than three words is able to describe the service well. If you opt for highly competitive and generic keywords then the costs are bound to be high.
·         Special Campaigns: Most PPC campaign builders create a single campaign for all the keywords. They feel it is an easier way to manage the accounts. But such a practice is wrong. You should separate the highly popular but low converting keywords and the high converting keywords to keep your budget under control.
·         Adwords Reporting: Adwords has a very efficient reporting system. You will get an idea of the cities from where maximum traffic flowing in. You can specify the keywords or the entire campaign keeping these statistics in mind.

Never try to create a PPC campaign on your own without any prior knowledge; it would be a waste of funds. Opt for experienced PPC campaign builder who will give you good results within the pre-fixed budget.
